CourtsNoMore Video Tutorial

An Alternative Sentence for
Offenders of Domestic Violence

(Especially for First Time Offenders)

Overview for Prosecutors
Our program is primarily targeted for Misdemeanor defendants. It is not appropriate for all offenders of domestic violence. Our program places defendants in contact with a repeating educational curriculum they usually would not receive; and thus there might be a chance you would not have to deal with them again.

The CourtsNoMore series follow most all state guidelines and required program content; plus our 15 video sessions cover the same topics as found in a multi-week Batterers Intervention Program.

Use the CourtsNoMore program when:
* charges are going to be Dropped or Reduced,
* an alternative or additional rehabilitation/educational program is needed which focuses on power and control,
* victims are reluctant to cooperate,
* as a viable resolution short of going to Court.

Victims' Video:
FREE : There is no charge for Victims' Series that offers education and hope for victims.

Our tutorial fills a niche that is not currently available and helps eliminate many excuses and delays involving money, transportation, work schedules, etc.

Noncompliance is reduced because our 15-Session Online video tutorial is:
* easy to use,
* affordable (a total of $67 paid directly to CourtsNoMore by the offender),
* accessible (from any computer), and
* achievable (no meetings, short duration, view at own pace)

PLUS: You can monitor online if the offender has passed the required, comprehensive test.

===> Take a TEST DRIVE: Login as John Doe, offender; Docket # 1234567
====================================================================
WHY ONLINE? It's:
* Reliable - You can verfiy the quality and the message.
* Repeatable - viewer can watch multiple times
* Consistent - same message everytime

Highlights of the Program

Here's How it Works - Only 3 Steps:

  1. The Prosecutor or Court mandates the Offender to enroll in the CourtsNoMore Tutorial Program and successfully complete the program within a certain time frame (say 60 days).
  2. It is the Offender's sole responsibility to pay the fee, to enroll, to watch the Tutorial Videos and to pass the online test.
  3. Only when the Offender has passed the required test (achieved at least an 80% proficiency in the subject matter) can he/she print the "Certificate of Completion" and submit it to the Prosecutor.

Our Video Tutorial
Uses the philosophy of the "Emerge Model of Batterers Invention Program" and incorporates valuable information from "The Duluth Model" which focuses on issues of power and control.
